This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

house that Jack built..
the family
increases population the company
spends too many
visits but the doors are always open
welcome
come right on in..have a seat,
take a chill pill
your in trouble..I can feel ur pain
your lost
for words..the family's
increased
what manners..gives u politeness
open a home with respect
leaves no room
enough to
be suspicious of thief or mind
games
just keep wearing that
kindless
ur house becomes no rooms for rent
just sweet
offerings..a crown of worthless causes
what don't belong to
curtiousy
politeness kindness
generosity..
all who outlives your stupidity..
welcomes
the expense with no love for a house
your, any longer..
