Carmelo Anthony had a double-double at the half and finished with a game-high 42 points,
17 rebounds, six assists and two blocks, but New York would fall short, 96-93, without the
services of Chauncey Billups and Amar'e Stoudemire. Jared Jeffries had 10 points, six
rebounds and two swats over 26 minutes off the bench. New York will look to bounce back
on Friday at the Garden for Game 3."
