Male students in Hampton’s 5-year MBA program are not allowed to wear cornrows and dreadlocks to class once they enroll in the seminar course. The ban has been in place since 2001.

So they say...Shayla....I enjoy your spirit, like the presence of a new day... You make me smile, cry, laugh and learn...funny how things...life presents us are fate...& still we yearn for some deeper connection....Hmmmm.

I was really stressed out for some time. My health, my family, my own self and sanity.

I won't go into details, but things got ruff...I held on, didn't let the "u need a job" comments...depress me totally. Sometimes it did. But to be fair it was times when I got full support so I can't complain. In actuality So you know, the man I am... Only working part time wasn't gettin it. The full respect of the household. But Shayla...

Today the good Lord finally answered my prayers... I got a job working at a well known hospital. & they have a art program for seniors. I wanted that job so bad it hurt. I really skrewdd up the interview...I get nervous...but the called for my papers, then Agee weeks later they called for me...(big smiles)

City job Shayla, 40 to 50k a year...never made money like that before...it still feels like adream... I won't speak on it to too many people cause I am scared I will wake up.... But I had to share my happiness with you...

Jimmy Castor Bunch:

Jimmy Castor (born June 23, 1947 in New York) is an American pop and funk musician. He is best known as a fun disco/funk saxophonist, with his biggest hit single being 1972's million seller, "Troglodyte (Cave Man)".

Career

Castor started as a doo-wop singer in New York. He wrote and recorded "I Promise to Remember" in 1956. Castor then replaced Frankie Lymon in The Teenagers in 1957 before switching to the saxophone in 1960. He had a solo hit with "Hey Leroy, Your Mama's Callin' You" on Smash Records in 1966. Castor also played sax on Dave "Baby" Cortez's hit "Rinky Dink." He formed the Jimmy Castor Bunch in 1972 and signed with RCA.

As leader of The Jimmy Castor Bunch in the 1970s, and also as a solo artist, he has released several successful albums and singles. The group reached the peak of their commercial success in 1972 with the release of their album, It's Just Begun, which featured two hit singles: the title track and "Troglodyte (Cave Man)," which was a large hit in the U.S., peaking at #6 in the Billboard Hot 100. Michael Night, “The New York Cowboy” was born in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Queens New York at the age of five and has lived there since. Michael was first introduced to country music on the trips that his North Carolina born Dad used to take him on to visit his Grandparents farm. Michael always loved the country, the country accents and the music. “It sounds like music when country folks talk,” Night commented. Michael’s mom’s parents also had a farm out in the Hamptons in Long Island, NY, so farm life was no stranger to little Michael. Michael recalls “I’ve been singing as long as I can remember. In choruses, in school, in glee clubs and just singing to the radio…you just couldn’t shut me up! I love to sing!” exclaims Night. Michael studied piano and guitar to fine tune his songwriting skills and enhance his trade. Being inspired by folks like Vince Gill, Kenny Rogers and the one and only Charlie Pride, Michael has been working on his own special style of country music. Michael has performed at the home of 50 Cent alongside of Patti Labelle, The Temptations and Ben E King, singing his special version of his love song “The Letter” for the wedding anniversary of 50 Cent’s grandparents. His first CD “I Sing Country Too” and his tribute song “Free At Last” were done with services rendered by none other than Nashville’s own Jonell Polansky, publisher and producer of Tim McGraw’s triple platinum song “Ticking Away.” Michael’s music also caught the ears of Europe’s first divorce photographer Monica Fassmer, who flew in to New York to shoot a video for divorced women with Michael, using his love song “Waiting With A Ring” as the theme song. Night says “The only way to go now is up.
