"FYI- The pharmacies at Market Street grocery stores in North Texas are launching a program to offer free antibiotics and prenatal vitamins to its customers. The “Free to Feel Better” program covers 60 of the most prescribed generic antibiotics and up to a year’s worth of prenatal vitamins at no cost. For instance, it will offer generic versions of a number of antibiotics such as amoxicillin, penicillin, ciprofloxacin and erythromycin for free, and it will offer up to a year’s worth of prenatal vitamins for free. For the free antibiotics program, the offer is good for up to a 14-day supply of general oral antibiotics, including liquids, capsules and tablets, but it doesn’t include injectible or topical antibiotics. Also there’s no limit on the number of 14-day covered prescriptions customers can have filled free. A valid prescription is required for customers to take advantage of the program, said Eddie Owens, Market Street’s director of corporate communications. Also Market Street does not require customers to transfer other prescriptions to its pharmacy to take advantage of the program. Market Street has six stores in North Texas. It opened its first D-FW store in Colleyville in 2003, and added others in McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Coppell-Lewisville and Plano."
