food for thought....if this don't, It will
"The Poem
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees..
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease..
All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer No time to speak of Christ to friends, They'd laugh at me I'd fear.. No time, no time, too much to do, That was my constant cry, No time to give to souls in need But at last the time, the time to die I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes. For in his hands God held a book; It was the book of life. God looked into his book and said 'Your name I cannot find I once was going to write it down... But never found the time'"

I have arrived..Dallas..WHOOPIE!!...as you can see.. I called Darlene as soon as the plane touched down..she said..are ya there, she she..I replied whatcha think..Grinning like a new Immigrant meets American for the first time..Welcome back..SHEILA!!! although, it was a very difficult day for Darlene, considering she had 2 problems resting on her back..her mother in the hospital and the funeral arrangements..so as a result of complications, making plans , checking on the house..where friends were stopping by w/ food to help in support..she somehow lost her keys to her NISSAN Aramark..SUV..so I had to get a cab, she was so upset but the devil is a liar, it was late and I had to wait until a security cab rolled up and asked if I needed any help..of which ..he got me a cab..amen..I was off to the house..but..sometimes the cabdrivers are not so good finding the whereabouts of a place there not from..u get me, he was Nigerian and hard to understand me..do you believe this..LOL.. had a navigator in his vehicle..go figure, asking me..a New Yorker..the address, spell it and when it became to difficult for him..ask for her number ..of which she got him straight, but used the money monitoring to make it work to his advantage..understand..she wound up paying from DFW to OAKCLEFF..$56.00 Dollars. that's right..told me ..it's no problem as long as I got there safe and sound..I felt terrible and her son..MONTEZ said..I think he gave u the run around to get more money MOM..and I agreed..a smart youngman he is..Montez is, as well as all the rest..beautiful children..WELCOME BACK >sheila..grinning..:)...Create..Sheila
My trip to Dallas..On a good note..Sad times...
I started my morning off at 8:30,waking up to a beautiful sunny NYC day, refreshed and ready
to make this flight, kinda nervous, but excited at the same time..my flight was in the evening
6:15 pm..had a lotta time on my hands, my nephew was picking me up at 4:00pm. so I won't
get to theAirport so late,so I make a big breakfast..washed some clothes..did some poetry and
checked out what FB had to say..leaving my words of wisdom..channeled thoughts on my
girlfriend..who after calling me..Monday and left the news of her daughter, Darleneya Loss
husband..Dale..I was so hurt and shocked, this man was a a very ambitious brotha..well loved
and devoted to his family. When I visited Dallas In 1993..he was the first male on the seen w/
Darleneya..waiting to meet me when we arrived at Peaches restaurant..He had to escort me..
due to the work Darleneya, her sister ..Nikia and Chancey..who was her husband then, that passed5 yrs ago and
father of the family..I got to see a whole new world right before my eyes..we went to The
Dallas Cowboys Stadium to the Coliseum, where the Black expo was being held..I saw celebrities
and at that time..met entreprenuers from all over the world, selling, cooking and making
themselves a name in the busines of networking..I went T.D Jakes Church..his first one..before
he made his way through building 2 more churches..they had me all over Dallas Forth, Garland,
Mesquite and Oakcleff, where Darlene makes her Home to this day..it was truly a memorable
occasion for sure.. so after the first trip. I started returning every year, meeting new friends and
getting to know my way around..met severval guys and they Loved NYC woman..in Dallas..uh hun.
But this time wasn't so good, you see, her mother..my Girlfriend Peaches before his death, had an
operation, where she came home, recovering just a few weeks prior to the operation..she wasn't well
yet and as a result..relapsed hearing about Dale, a few hours later, she wound up back in the
hospital. where Darleneya tried to keep the news from me..but when i had to call her back to let her know
about the time of my arrival at DFW..she broke down and cried..told me her mom was back in ICU..
well as you know by now..I got there asap..had to represent her daughter for Peaches and The family.
and well here I am..Thanks for listening..Peace..Create..Sheila T Jordan...

My response back from President Barack Obama
"January 25, 2011
Dear Sheila:
Thank you for taking the time to write.
I have been moved by many Americans' letters
describing their personal challenges,
and I appreciate your sharing your experiences with me.
I am working diligently every day to address the hardships people
like you are facing. Across our Nation, families are grappling
with many difficult issues, including family separation or illness,
job losses, difficulty in paying the mortgage or rent, and
staggering medical bills. It took many years to create our Nation's
current challenges, and it will take time to bring about
the changes our families need. We have already begun building a solid
foundation to help overcome the real struggles Americans
are experiencing. The changes we are making will help strengthen
our communities and families, create or save millions of jobs,
and fund much-needed reforms to our health care and education
systems. As we work together to improve the lives of all Americans,
please know that the trials and triumphs of Americans like
you motivate my Administration to work even harder to overcome
the challenges before us. I am confident we will emerge from these tough
times stronger than before with a renewed promise of a better
future for all. Information on jobs, child care, health
benefits, housing assistance, and other public resources
available to those in need can be found by calling 1-(800)-FEDINFO or
by visiting: www.usa.gov. Thank you again for writing.
Sincerely,
Barack Obama"
